An electric power system is the network that supplies power to a region which is referred to as a grid. Smaller power systems are used in industries, hospitals, commercial buildings and residential homes.

Production Engineering is the basic backbone of Mechanical engineering. Due to this reason, in many college, it has been established as a separate branch. M.Tech. in Production engineering program includes designing and installation of integrated systems for equipment, humnan and materials and Processes in order to increase the productivity of goods.
